I recently attended a call with the NGO Committee on Aging, of which I am a member, and the Chair, William Smith, said something that perfectly captures why I want to work in aging. He said, “Young people are just old people in waiting.” And that, to me, is exactly why I care so much about aging.I’m eager to dedicate my career to advancing aging policy and inclusive community design,  so that my generation and those before us can age with dignity.
